Chelsea Cox was recommended to the Board of Trustees to be the principal of Coyote Ridge Elementary and was approved during the Jan. 8 Board meeting. Coyote Ridge will open in August of 2024 to fifth and sixth grade students from Jessup, Davis, Hobbs and Prairie Wind elementary schools.
The decision to recommend Cox to the Board of Trustees was based on a thorough hiring process, which included an interview and recommendations from a committee made up of teachers, parents, students, administrators and district personnel.
