Amy Kassel is a mathematics teacher at Cheyenne East High School and was selected as one of the Nation’s top STEM Teachers.
The White House announced the most recent recipients of this award on October 15th, 2019. It is the Presidential for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (STEM) award. The awardees will be in Washington D.C. this week to be recognized.
Other Wyoming educators were also selected:
- Helen Ommen from Spring Creek Elementary School, Laramie
- James Stith from Newcastle High School, Newcastle
- Necole Hanks from Powell Middle School, Powell
