The greater Cheyenne area has been growing and this has an effect on student enrollment.
As of last week there were 14,191 students enrolled in Laramie County School District #1. This is an increase from previous years and includes area private school Poder Elementary and Secondary.
- 2015-2016: 13,651
- 2016-2017: 13,784
- 2017-2018: 14,001*
The 2017-2018 count included PODER as well.
