31 gymnasts from Cheyenne Gymnastics competed along with nearly 400 gymnasts from across the state at the USA Gymnastics/Wyoming State Gymnastics Championships on March 17 in Gillette, Wyoming.
Five gymnasts earned gold medals and state champion titles: Jadyn Martin, Bars Gold Medalist (XCel Bronze); Taylar Scott, Vault Gold Medalist (XCel Silver); Addie Gonzales, Floor Exercise Gold Medalist (Level 4); Grace Dillow, Floor Exercise and Balance Beam Gold Medalist (Level 7 Senior A); Madeline Dillow, Floor Exercise and Balance Beam Gold Medalist (Level 7 Senior B).
Sisters Madeline and Grace Dillow as well as teammate Abbie Mickelson qualified to advance to the USAG Level 7 Regionals competition in Kansas City, MO, April 27-28. Additionally, team members earned 22 silver medals and 17 bronze medals. The team practices year-round at the City of Cheyenne’s Neighborhood Facility.
